Onofry is encouraging parents and
guardians to call, e-mail or visit him to discuss matters
regarding their children or the school. He has also
developed a brief questionnaire to help determine what
parents like most about ASK and what they would like to see
changed. Parents are asked to complete the printed form that
will be sent home with students when school opens. A copy of
the survey can also be downloaded by
clicking here.
Parents are also invited to meet Onofry at the upcoming
back-to-school programs:

us keep our school safe
All visitors must present photo identification
Port Jervis is working to ensure that our schools are safe
places for students and staff. Additional cameras have been
added to all school buildings and the photo identification
program has been expanded. Parents and other visitors are
required to present a driver’s license or other photo
identification to gain access to the locked buildings.
Visitors are issued a temporary identification card which
must be displayed while they are in the school. Signs have
been posted at the ASK entrance to notify visitors that
identification is required to enter our school.
»Club Kid offers before/after-school programs
Is
your work day longer than your child's school day? If
the answer is yes, the YMCA Club Kid program may be your
answer. The program provides before and after-school
childcare right here at ASK Elementary School. Financial
assistance is available to all who apply and qualify.
