Help us
keep our school safe
All visitors must present photo identification
Port
Jervis is working to ensure that our schools are safe
places for students and staff. Additional cameras have
been added to all school buildings and the photo
identification program has been expanded. Parents and
other visitors are required to present a driver’s
license or other photo identification to gain access to
the locked buildings. Visitors are issued a temporary
identification card which must be displayed while they
are in the school. Signs have been posted at the Middle
School entrance to notify visitors that identification
is required to enter our school.

Have
questions about the late bus?
The school district offers a
late bus run for Middle School students who
participate in eligible after-school activities.
Students who want to ride the late bus must receive
permission in advance from a building administrator.
Students are picked up at
the Middle School by 3:30 p.m. and transported to
the High School. From there, students depart
at approximately 3:55 p.m. Student drop off
times may vary depending upon the number of students
riding the late bus and the territory that needs to
be covered. The late buses do not make all regularly
assigned stops, they are generalized.
