Port Jervis High School Alumni Hall of Fame |
Port Jervis High School has started an
Alumni Hall of Fame.
A new class of inductees will be honored each year. This new
project will honor our past and motivate today’s students to
reach for the stars. A plaque with the Hall of Fame inductees'
names and biographies will be permanently displayed at the high
school.
All alumni who have used their Port degrees as a springboard to
even greater successes in their professional lives will be given
consideration.
The Port Jervis School District is proud to announce its
inaugural Hall of Fame class: Marion Rohner, '35; Dr.
Harry Levinson, '39;
Senator E. Arthur Gray, '43; General William Norris,
'45; Philip Chase, '50; Ed Banach. '78;
and Lou Banach,
'78.
The 2009 inductees were honored at the first annual Alumni
Hall of Fame banquet set for Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Erie
Trackside Manor.

Want to spread the word about an upcoming class reunion?
You can now post reunion information on the Alumni Page. Please
email your information by clicking here. Please be sure to
include the following information:
•
Class year
•
Time, date, and location of the reunion
•
Contact name and email address of a person
who can be reached by
classmates for further information. Phone numbers are
optional.
Port Jervis is honoring alumni who are serving in the U.S.
Armed Forces. A special Military Wall of Fame is being
placed in the High School to proudly display photographs of Port
Jervis graduates who are currently serving in the Army, Air
Force, Navy, Marines, or Coast Guard.
If you, or a graduate you know, is serving on active duty or the
reserves, we invite you to submit a wallet size photograph of
him or her for the showcase. Along with the photographs, please
include the graduate's name, year of graduation, and branch of
service. Information should be mailed to the volunteers who will
manage the showcase:
