Kuhl Elementary School's Kindergarten through Second grade students recently got to parSnowboarding at ASKticipate in the Burton Riglet Snowboarding Physical Education Program presented by Mountain Creek Snowboard and Ski School during their Physical Education classes.

Mountain Creek’s Riglet PE Program is designed to give Kindergarten through 2nd grade students a safe and fun indoor introduction to snowboarding, a sport which encourages the children to be active and remain physically fit during the winter months.

The program used specialized equipment and trained instructors to work on balance, body movement, flexibility, and core strength. The instructors were uniquely focused on making sure the children enjoyed the process of successfully learning an outdoor sport in a comfortable indoor environment.

Students started out the program by following along with a short warm up video with Pro Riders Ben Ferguson and Kelly Clark. Then students rotated around to five interactive snowboarding stations.

At the end of the class, all students received a certificate of completion and some fun promotional items!
