D.A.R.E. Graduation 2017 

Students Learn the Power of Good Decision Making

March 24, 2017 -  HBE, Cuddebackville, NY - With family in the audience, fifth graders from Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School took to the stage and received certificates upon graduating from the D.A.R.E. Program.
D.A.R.E. is a comprehensive program designed to teach students good decision-making skills to help them lead sage and healthy lives.  Students are taught the positive aspects of respecting others, choosing to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors. 
Deerpark Police Officer Frank McGrath teaches the D.A.R.E. program at HBE.  McGrath spoke to his students at their graduation about continuning the valuable lessons learned in the program.  Each student was given a certifcate and an individual challenge coin, engraved with their names.
